How to Choose a Moving Company in Dubai
The cheapest quote and the best move are rarely the same booking. Here is how to tell them apart.
There are hundreds of movers in Dubai, from established companies to a driver with a pickup and a phone number. Both have a place, but they are not interchangeable, and the difference usually shows up at the worst possible moment: halfway down a stairwell with your wardrobe.
These are the questions worth asking before you book anyone, including us.

What exactly is in the price?
Crew, truck, materials, dismantling, reassembly, protection and waste removal. A number without a scope is not a quote.
How many crew and what size truck?
A company that has thought about your job can answer immediately. A guess means a guess.
Will you dismantle and reassemble?
If this is "extra", you are comparing two different services.
Do you bring packing material?
Otherwise you are buying boxes at the last minute at the worst price.
What happens if something breaks?
You want a clear, simple answer about reporting and what follows, not an evasive one.
Who will I speak to on the day?
Knowing there is a contact number that answers is worth a lot at 7 AM.
Can you work with my lift slot?
A mover who asks about permits and lift windows has done tower moves. One who does not, has not.
Warning signs
A price given instantly with no questions asked. A quote far below every other one, which usually means something has been left out or a second trip is coming. No written confirmation of date, price and scope. Pressure to pay a large deposit immediately. And reviews that all read the same way and appeared in the same week.
None of these prove bad service on their own. Two or three together usually do.
About reviews
Reviews are useful when they are specific. "Great service" tells you nothing; "moved a three-bedroom villa in Mirdif, took the beds apart and rebuilt them, arrived at 8" tells you a lot.

Match the company to the job
For a single item or a small load, a truck with a driver and a couple of men is genuinely the right answer, and paying for a full moving crew is a waste — that is what this service is for.
