Dismantling and assembly is the part of a move that takes the longest and goes wrong the most. A wardrobe forced out of a room in one piece damages the door frame. A bed rebuilt with missing screws is a bed that squeaks for a year. Flat-pack units are the worst of both: cheap to buy, slow to build, and easy to assemble in the wrong order.
We do this work as part of a move and as a job on its own. If you have bought new furniture and just need it built, or you need the old wardrobe taken apart before the new one arrives, that is a normal booking for us.

Frames, slats and headboards, with fittings bagged and taped to the frame so nothing is lost.

Legs and extensions removed for transport and reattached at the other end.

Rails and tracks fitted and curtains hung once the furniture is in position.
TV wall mounting
Brackets fitted and the screen mounted, with cables tidied behind it.
Handyman work after a move
The day after a move is when the small jobs appear: curtains to hang, a TV to mount, mirrors and shelves to fix to the wall, and furniture that needs securing so it cannot tip. We can do these at the end of the move rather than leaving you to find someone else.
Tell us what you need when you book, because brackets and fixings depend on the wall type, and we would rather bring the right ones than promise and improvise.
Booking assembly on its own
Assembly-only jobs are priced by the number and type of items, not by the hour — a bed and two wardrobes is a predictable job, and you should know the price before we arrive.

Can you assemble furniture I bought from IKEA or online?
Yes. New flat-pack furniture is one of the most common requests, and we take the packaging away when we finish.
Do you bring tools and fixings?
We bring the tools. Wall fixings depend on the wall, so tell us what you are mounting and where when you book.
Can you dismantle furniture I am selling or storing?
Yes, and we bag and label the fittings so whoever rebuilds it has everything.
Do you hang curtains and mount TVs?
Yes, curtain and blind installation, TV wall mounting, and fixing wall-mounted furniture.
Is assembly included when you move me?
Yes. In a home, apartment, villa or office move, taking furniture apart and rebuilding it is part of the service.
